Can Animals Predict Disasters?

I do believe that animals can predict disasters, because when some animals may hear sounds produced by natural phenomena, including earthquakes, volcanoes, and storms. Its ability may give animals enough time to react and flee to safety. Such as the tsunami of December 26, 2004, one of the worst natural disasters in history more than 250 thousand people were killed. Mysterious stuff started to happen, many animals survived the tsunami they ran away before the tsunami hit. In the forth century, rats, worms, and Beatles ran off five days before a big earthquake would hit. Another explanation may lie in animals sensitivity to electromagnetic field variation. A geologist named Motoji Ikeya has found certain animals react to changes in electrical currents. He regularly tests on catfish, goldfish, and other types of fish. But his result land to the most sensitive fish and that is the catfish. Also a retired geologist, Jim Brukland has been predicting earthquakes for about 30 years. All his resources has been looking through lost pet ads on the news papers, and see how many local pets have been missing through the weeks and if its too many he knows their a natural disaster. One of his great predictions was the 1989 San Francisco earthquake, in his studies he noticed an average of 15 to 57 missing pets. He alarmed in the local news papers a day before the earthquake strucked.
Although scientist disagree as to whether animal behavior can be used to predict earthquakes and natural disasters, they all agree that it is possible for animals to sense changes in the enviroment before humans. researchers around the world are continuing to study animal behavior and earthquakes. It is hoped that these studies will help to aid earthquake predictions. And thats my believe that animals can predict natural disasters.
